For the journey from Austria, Germany and Switzerland good railroad connections exist to the Arlberg. And also from both airports of Zurich and Innsbruck you simply reach our hotel.
Getting to us by car:
Driving to our hotel? Use the free route planner offered by Google Maps.
We recommend to drivers, especially for Saturdays and weekends during the main season, to avoid the distance segments Feldkrich-Lerch and Imst-Lech because of the traffic jam danger between 09:30 and 14:00.
There is an obligation to use winter tyres. We also recommend to take snow chains with you in case of snow-covered roads.
Motorways in Austria are subject to a toll. Vignettes are available at the border crossings, at petrol stations, post offices, tobacconist’s, at your car club and at Lech Zürs Tourismus. The currently valid prices for motorway vignettes can be found at asfinag.at/maut/vignette.
Those who make winter holidays in Oberlech can enjoy the magical snow landscape on over 1,700 meters without noise pollution and exhaust emissions. There is neither traffic jam nor traffic, because the place is car-free and can only be reached with the mountain railway or over the slope.
At your arrival, you park your car comfortably in the underground carpark Anger in Lech. While your luggage is transferred to Hotel Bergkristall through a convenient tunnel system, you will be able to hover over the gondola to check-in. This gondola daily commutes continuously between 7am and 1am at night between Lech center and Oberlech. For night owls, a taxi also drives around the clock to Oberlech.
